Overview

Skopeia is an independent service. By purchasing a Skopeia report, you agree to these terms. If you have questions, email support@skopeia.com before purchasing.

The service

Skopeia produces a one-time personalized PDF fit report for neuroscience and biomedical sciences PhD applicants. Each report includes:

  • A calibrated program list (reach, realistic, and safer tiers)
  • Professor matches with recent publications and a taking-students confidence rating
  • A funding eligibility matrix (NIH F31, NSF GRFP, HHMI Gilliam, and others where applicable)
  • An application calendar with deadlines and fee-waiver dates
  • A personalized professor outreach email template

Reports are generated using AI and reviewed by a human before delivery. Delivery is within 48 hours of payment, typically sooner.

Payment

The price is $129 USD, charged once at time of purchase. Payment is processed by Stripe. All charges are in US dollars regardless of your country of residence.

Refund policy

You are entitled to a full refund if your delivered report does not meet all of the following minimum quality criteria:

  • At least 10 ranked programs (across all tiers)
  • At least 10 professor matches
  • A funding eligibility matrix covering at least two fellowships
  • An application calendar with at least five dated entries

To request a refund, email support@skopeia.com within 14 days of receiving your report. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.

We do not offer refunds based on subjective dissatisfaction with the report's recommendations, or if you change your mind about applying to graduate school.

Data accuracy disclaimer

Skopeia compiles information from official program websites, university pages, and academic databases. Every data point is verified against its source at the time of database compilation, and each record carries a verification date.

However, program deadlines, requirements, stipends, and faculty information change frequently. You must independently verify all information in your report directly with the graduate program before submitting any application. Skopeia is not responsible for decisions made based on information that has changed since our last verification date.

No institutional endorsement

Skopeia is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any university, graduate program, or professor mentioned in our reports. Use of program names and faculty information is for informational purposes only under fair use. We do not reproduce university branding or claim any official relationship with any institution.

Acceptable use

Your report is for your personal use only. You may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, or share your report with others for commercial purposes
  • Use report content to build competing products or services
  • Submit false or misleading information in the intake form

Limitation of liability

Skopeia is an information service, not an admissions consulting service. We do not guarantee admission to any program, and we make no representation about the likelihood of admission outcomes. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for your report.

Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through appropriate legal channels.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. Material changes will be communicated by email.
